How to to configure My Room in a Content Grouping

This section is intended for indicating in our system where the different rooms inside our hotel are, so guests once they log in, can quickly find where their room is. It is a very useful section for big hotel complexes where finding the room location might be tough or just to know the distance between the room and any facility at the hotel. 

Route: CONTENT > OTHER > CONTENT GROUPS 

  1. Hover the cursor over the Content Grouping in which we want to edit the map and click on the “View info” button. 
  2. Select the “My Room Configuration” tab. 
  3. Fill in the following fields: 
    1. Building name: Introduce the building name in all available languages by clicking on the flag icon. 
    2. Number of rooms: Introduce the room range we want to locate in the map. 
  4. Click on the edit icon beside each building name to place them on the map. We can also edit other options: 
    1. Add the room ranges: click on the “Add room range” option and add the room range, for example from room numbers from 100 up to 200. 
    2. Delete room ranges: click on the cross icon beside each field to delete it. 
    3. Other rooms: add the room numbers that do not have any range to place them on the map, for example 321, 524. 
    4. Deleting other rooms: click on the cross icon beside each field to delete them.
    5. Location: hover the cursor over the map to indicate the location point in which those rooms are located. 
  5. Click on the “Save” button. 

 

How to delete a building 

Route: CONTENT > OTHER > CONTENT GROUPING 

  1. Hover the cursor over the Content Grouping in which we want to edit the map and click on the “View info” button. 
  2. Select the “My Room Configuration” tab. 
  3. Click on the red cross icon beside the building name we want to delete. 
  4. Confirm the pop up window.
