Comparison of the Starter and PRO versions of Instant Feedback

The Instant Feedback feature relies on a basic and an advanced version, which are offered in STAY’s Starter and PRO plans, respectively. Next, we will show you the difference between the two versions regarding available features and configuration options.

Starter plan


Instant Feedback is included by default in the STAY Starter Plan, and this version allows access to the basic features of the tool. This version includes: 


  • In-stay surveys: feedback is collected through satisfaction surveys within the app. When customers use the app during their stay, they are invited to complete a short survey. 
  • Number of questions per survey: this version allows a maximum of 5 questions per survey.
  • Overall statistics: summary of the results obtained through all customer surveys conducted in a given date range. We provide statistics on the number of responses, average scores, user types (guests and anonymous users), channels, and specific services.
  • Redirection to review platforms: a tool to invite users to share their experience at your property on open platforms.
  • Received responses download: you can check the list of responses received with data by columns and download them in spreadsheet format.

The general configuration offered in this plan is the one set by default, i.e.:


  • Survey display: only one display format is available for each type of survey and only one repetition of the prompt.
  • Recipients: surveys are displayed to all users —both guests and anonymous users— and login is requested, although it is not a mandatory step.
  • Comments: a comments field is available after each question —no choice of where it is displayed and not a mandatory field. An additional comment field is also available but without the choice of when to include it or make it mandatory.
  • Thank-you messages: the same generic message will be shown to all users at the end of the survey.



PRO plan


Instant Feedback is available with STAY’s PRO plan in its most advanced version and allows access to the tool’s full functionality, offering greater customization across the board. This version includes, in addition to what the Starter version offers, the following:


  • Number of questions per survey: this version allows you to include up to 20 questions in each survey.
  • Comment field configuration options: it is possible to choose whether the comment field is optional or mandatory for the user and where it is displayed.
  • Survey display configuration options: you can choose between 3 different survey display formats: pop-up, top banner, or full screen. You can choose the number of total notifications and the time between them.
  • Customization of thank-you messages: you will be able to customize the message displayed at the end of the survey according to the score given by the user.
  • Survey status management: you will be able to sort the responses received by status (New, Pending, In progress, Solved) so it's easier to manage them.
  • Direct communication with respondents: you will have the chance to send a direct message to the respondent of a survey.
  • Linking of requests to responses: when checking a response in detail, you can create a request from the same screen to solve any needs that may have arisen in the survey response.
  • Follow-up by email: you can set up notifications based on the score received in a survey.
  • Advanced statistics: you will have access to survey performance analysis tools with a higher level of detail.
  • Overall statistics report download: you can download a file with the overall results obtained through all the surveys carried out in a given date range. We provide statistics on the number of responses, average scores, user types, channels, and specific services.
  • Integrations: integrating the tool with other survey service providers is possible. Integration with Review PRO is available with this plan at no additional cost.
